Collagen Chews Vs. Bully Sticks

What’s the difference and is one better than the other?

For your dog, chewing has a ton of benefits and is super important to their overall well being.

Dental Health

Mental Stimulation

Stress Relief

Natural chews help break down plaque and tartar build up, improving dental health and reducing bad breath.

Chewing provides much needed mental stimulation and is relaxing. Providing our pups with chews, busts boredom and reduces anxiety which can help reduce problem behaviors.

Collagen chews and bully sticks have a lot in common, they’re  both great natural options that most dogs enjoy.
Collagen chews may withstand more vigorous chewing than bully sticks. Collagen chews are made from the corium, or the inner layer of cow skin. This layer is abundant with collagen and has a high digestibility.

Bully sticks or “bull pizzle” are made from muscle meat (if you don’t know from which muscle, you can ask if you really want to know.) Bully sticks are great for dogs of all sizes and chewing styles. Most dogs find a bully stick pretty tasty, these may be better suited for your pickier dogs.

Collagen chews have many nutritional benefits:

Joint Support

Promotes healthy skin, coat and nails

Aids in digestion and soothes the gut lining

No matter which chew you choose, you’ll want them to come from humanely raised, grass fed cattle. Make sure they’re free of any chemical flavors, colors or preservatives.

Always supervise your dog with any chew. Limit chew sessions to 30 minutes or less. Use a chew holder for extra added safety.
